Danilo Herrenmoden GmbH & CO KG was founded in 1978 by Dieter Klaus Kuckert in Solingen as an proprietor-managed private company. Since that the company with its’ current staff of over 40 qualified specialists offers always the latest trends for the specialized fashion retail.

From the beginning, we put great emphasis on commercially attractive propositions: interesting materials and a first-class price-value ratio for both retail and consumer. In recognizing –or even: predicting!- new fashion trends and converting them into creative, wearable collections for our customers, thus combing secure trend scouting with excellent processing and special details, we gained considerable market share. We create men’s fashion – since more than 25 years, now. Our speciality is Knitwear and wool collections –meaning pullovers and troyers, sweaters and sweatshirts, polo shirts and the like in trendy colours and fashionable designs. These are the basis of our current collections, which we manufacture under the label Danilo in production plants world-wide.

We supply exclusively to the fashion trade: from the specialized retail store up to the multinational fashion chains, we have developed many long standing business partnerships. Not only our first-class products but reliability and flexibility have been an increasingly important element of this successful cooperation.

Being a family business, it has been a great reassurance for many customers that a well-educated younger generation has made its’ way to the management floor and is holding up the principles that made us successful.
